RadioLAN Troubleshooting:

Click here to see the answers to the most Frequently Asked Questions about RadioLAN Wireless LAN adapters. In order to best assist us in helping you solve technical issues, please make sure to report the answers to the following questions as thoroughly as possible:

1. About the Product:

What RadioLAN product are you using? What is the part number on the Product Label? What is the driver version?


2. About the Problem:

What is the nature of the problem? Please be sure to describe your issue in as much detail including any error messages reported. What troubleshooting steps have you already taken? Do you need manuals or drivers?


3. About the System:

What is the type of computer? memory? operating system? What networking protocols are involved? .


4. Troubleshooting steps:




• Run RadioNET Manager. Does it load properly? If not, check the hardware setting for device conflicts.



• Click the 'Info' button. Can you see other stations? If not, check to see that Access Point selection mode is set to properly, and there are other stations to communicate with.



• Click the 'Connectivity' tab, and then the 'start' button. Is the indicator green or yellow? If not, you're probably out of range of another station.



• Run the system Command Interpreter. Ping your server or gateway IP address. Does it ping successfully? If not, check the connections on the other side of the link. Is the Access Point hooked up?



• Ping a DNS name, such as 'radiolan.com'. Does it ping? If not, make sure your DHCP server is configured and operational.
